Dad, everybody says I need to be happy with what I am doing so I am going to choose something that I am passion about.
Dad:
You mean long term or short term.
Son:
I don't get it
Dad:
In the short run, you can be happy doing what you love.
but in the long run, you will be happy if choose something that you have talent. You would feel confident and happy with the result.
